Tuning/Engine Management

Using a Load based DynoDynamics Dyno we are able to tune any engine management system available for the 350Z and G35. A load based dyno as opposed to an inertia type dyno allows us to properly calibrate the engine management system’s parameters using “real world” drag and load inputs to the chassis. The DynoDynamics dyno uses an eddy current retarder system to place a load on the motor through the drive train thus simulating the load associated with accelerating a 3200lb vehicle (or any weight we calibrate the dyno for). An inertia dyno uses a fixed roller weight that attempts to recreate these real world dynamics, but generally it is unable to come close and many times is completely inaccurate.

We have amassed a tremendous amount of experience using our recommended engine management choice the TurboXS UTEC. We are also very versed in the Greddy Emanage Blue and Ultimate as well as the Split Second piggy back computer and the Apex’I SuperAFC.
